Ives: “I'm not running for mayor of Chicago, I'm running for governor of Illinois.” Cites survey that says "85 percent of IL says we're on the wrong track."

Ives on IL's property taxes: "The burden is enormous and you're stealing people's equity from them."

Ives on economic policy in Illinois: "You can't love jobs and hate job creators. And that's how it is in Springfield," she says. The attitude from Springfield legislators: "We know your business better than you."

Crain's: Does Rauner have a better chance of winning a general election? "Rauner will be Mark Kirk'd out of office," Ives says.
