Analysis: Homer Glen pays property taxes nearly two times national average

Steve Balich Editors note:
In 2015, I put a referendum on the Ballot which passed by 87% saying we citizens wanted taxing bodies to ask the question with a Referendum before raising property taxes. The people in Homer Township are fed up seeing the value of their property go down because of increased property tax and excessive increasing water bills. If you pay $8000 per year in property tax without any increase that's $80,000 in 10 years. How high will property taxes get before you are forced to move?
