Planned Parenthood Says It Puts Women First. This Missouri Clinic Proves Otherwise.

Planned Parenthood claims to put women first, yet the atrocious health code violations found at a Missouri clinic earlier this month suggest otherwise.

The abortion giant was campaigning against newly proposed regulations on Missouri abortion clinics when state inspectors discovered a clinic in Columbia, Missouri, was already in violation of existing state regulations.

The clinic’s license was due to expire in October, so in anticipation, the state health department made its routine inspection of the facility in August. In that inspection, the department discovered disgusting and dangerous health violations such as moldy equipment and bodily fluid on recently used equipment.

The state informed Planned Parenthood of these health violations and expected the organization to correct them immediately.

Not only did the clinic fail to do so, it continued operating for over a month without correcting the violations.

When the state visited the clinic again on Sept. 26, 2018, they discoveredadditional violations. They found “bloody single-use plastic tubing attached to the machine’s glass suction canister that was never disposed of after the last abortion procedure on Sept. 21,” along with machines covered in mold and bodily fluid. The department also found rusty machines and exam room tables with chipped paint, making them impossible to sanitize.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time state officials have discovered intolerable conditions inside an abortion facility.

In 2013, Kermit Gosnell was found guilty of multiple counts of murder and involuntary manslaughter after authorities uncovered the disgusting conditions of his Philadelphia abortion facility in 2010. The gruesome detailsare the subject of a new film, “Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer.”

After the unsanitary conditions of Gosnell’s clinic became public knowledge, abortion advocates claimed that he was a perfect example of why “women should have easier access to abortion so that they don’t have to seek care from an unqualified provider.”

It appears that Planned Parenthood never got the memo.

The Columbia Planned Parenthood was found operating under filthy conditions a mere eight years after the FBI discovered the harrowing conditions of Gosnell’s clinic. An dunfortunately, this is not an isolated incident.

Planned Parenthood found itself in hot water after authorities discovered similar conditions at its St. Louis location. This clinic was cited in 2009, 2013, 2015, and 2016 for highly unsanitary conditions and unsafe practices, totaling 210 health code violations in 39 different classes.

The violations included allowing two untrained employees to assist with surgical procedures, reusing single-dose medication vials for multiple patients, and failing to provide infection control training to staff.

Even where Planned Parenthood meets basic state-mandated requirements, they are providing fewer and fewer services to fewer and fewer women.

From 2015 to 2016, they provided fewer cancer screenings, breast examinations, HPV vaccinations, and prevention services to 100,000 fewer women at fewer locations than they did the year prior. From 2016 to 2017, prenatal services dipped too, down to 7,762 from 9,419 in 2015-2016.

By contrast, community health centers, which provide health care to women without entangling themselves in the abortion industry, outnumber Planned Parenthood locations 20 to 1. They also serve eight times more individuals that Planned Parenthood

However, one procedure for Planned Parenthood is on the rise: They performed several thousand more abortions in 2015-2016 than in the previous year: an uptick from 323,999 to 328,348. And the subsequent year they performed another 321,384 abortions, while only providing 3,889 adoption referrals, according to their own report.

That’s 83 abortions for every one adoption referral.

Despite plenty of rhetoric to the contrary, Planned Parenthood does not put the needs of women first, as their declining outreach and continued health care violations attest. Abortion remains Planned Parenthood’s bottom line.

These most recent health violations at Planned Parenthood in Columbia remind us that if we want quality health care for women, we must look at the abortion industry in the hard light of day.

(Natural News) In May 2013, following a two-month trial and two weeks of deliberation, a jury convicted Philadelphia abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell on multiple counts of first-degree murder for killing three babies born alive at his westside clinic by severing their spinal cords.

While acquitting him of third-degree murder for the 2009 death of 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar of Virginia, who died from a drug overdose during an abortion procedure at his clinic, the jury nevertheless found him guilty of a lesser charge of manslaughter. He was given three life sentences.

The Washington Post reported at the time:

Gosnell, in a dark suit and a maroon shirt, furrowed his brow and shook his head slightly but remained stoic when the verdicts were read in a packed Philadelphia courtroom just before 3 p.m. One juror appeared to cry. Prosecutors smiled in relief and later hugged colleagues.

The jury also acquitted him of murder in the death of another infant, known as Baby E, whom prosecutors had struggled to prove was alive after delivery. Judge Jeffrey P. Minehart previously dismissed three additional first-degree murder charges against Gosnell, each involving other infants.

Before the trial prosecutors were fairly certain that Gosnell had killed many more babies than he was charged for, but they simply did not have enough proof, so they didn’t pursue additional charges. When it was all said and done, however, they came to believe that Gosnell was one of America’s biggest serial killers.

Now, a new film set for release tells this grisly story, including how arrogant Gosnell was during the investigation and subsequent trial. And while the movie doesn’t take a hard pro-life stance – it’s not political – the Left is nevertheless terrified of the impression it will leave in the minds of millions of Americans who see it, especially now that there is a rock-solid conservative majority on the Supreme Court.

As such, the usual suspects – big tech, the mainstream media, and the Left-wing entertainment industry – are doing all they can to censor the movie, “Gosnell: America’s Biggest Serial Killer,” because, you know, they’re all about the First Amendment when it isn’t being used to skewer one of the Left’s sacred cows.

As Infowars notes, Facebook has already refused to allow filmmakers to advertise the film on their platform. And one of the more popular crowdfunding sites, Kickstarter, have refused them as well. In addition, National Public Radio (which is taxpayer-funded) also refused to carry ads for the film.

NPR’s problem with the ads? They won’t allow filmmakers to call Gosnell two things that honestly and truthfully describe him: An “abortionist” and a “murderer.”

Besides these censorship efforts, the filmmakers have also been stopped from showing the film in private screenings.

The Left is afraid of the truth about Gosnell and abortion

The film, directed by Nick Searcy, produced by Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer, and stars Dean Cain of “Superman” fame, is based on Gosnell’s 30-year abortion practice as well as the political media establishment that tried to cover up his crimes. It was announced in 2014, less than a year after Gosnell was convicted. It opened Friday, Oct. 12.

The story begins with Cain’s character, Philly police Det. James Wood, as he and fellow officers serve a search warrant for drugs and other paraphernalia at a building housing Gosnell’s clinic over suspicions of illegal prescription drug sales. As officers search the premises, Det. Wood and others detect a strong, foul odor – rotting flesh – from an office. From there the film expertly captures the charged atmosphere that quickly built around the case: The legal questions, issues of race (Gosnell is black; Cain’s character is white and Catholic), pro-life, pro-choice, and other cultural, social, and political issues.

“Everyone needs to see the Gosnell movie, particularly young people,” noted Marjorie Dannenfelser of the Susan B. Anthony List. “I can’t recommend this movie more strongly. The Gosnell movie faces viewers with the brutality and inhumanity of abortion and it achieves this in a movie that looks as good as any Hollywood film. This movie will change hearts and minds about abortion. It needs to be available widely.”

Added Kristan Hawkins with Students for Life of America, “After watching the Gosnell movie, I’m angry, I’m sad, and I’m more motivated than ever to end abortion. Every American should watch GOSNELL. If pro-choice, they need to watch it and be able to defend their beliefs. If pro-life, they need to watch it and ask themselves why they aren’t active in ending this atrocity. This movie should be screened on every college campus in our nation.”

But of course, Americans will have to actually see it to know and understand its impact and why it’s so important at this point in our history. And the truth-hating Left is doing all it can to prevent that from happening.

Abortion advocates blasted Gov. Bruce Rauner at a news conference Tuesday morning for failing to sign a pledge to protect a controversial bill that allows taxpayer money to be used for abortions.

Personal PAC President Terry Cosgrove took Rauner to task at the event in Chicago, the morning after President Donald Trump announced his latest Supreme Court pick. Personal PAC is a political action committee focused on electing candidates who support abortion rights.

Cosgrove said that the governor hasn’t signed a pledge sent to him by Personal PAC stating that he would protect the law as it is under House Bill 40. Rauner signed HB40 into law last year, upsetting conservative supporters.

The bill allows for taxpayer money to pay for abortions through Medicaid and state employee healthcare plans.

“The truth is, if re-elected, Gov. Rauner has proven he can’t be trusted to protect legal abortion in Illinois, unless the voters of Illinois have a written promise that if re-elected he won’t do anything to repeal, diminish or amend HB 40,” Cosgrove said.

Cosgrove and others at the news conference said that Rauner’s failure to sign the pledge they gave him was enough to drop him in favor of Democratic challenger, J.B. Pritzker, who signed the pledge.

Rauner faced political backlash for his decision on HB40. Anti-abortion Republicans across the state lashed out at the governor for signing the bill after promising not to engage on controversial social issues. Rauner also had previously said he would veto the measure. Rauner gave similar assurances to Cardinal Blase Cupich, the cardinal has said.

Rauner responded to questions about Personal PAC's criticism later that day.

"I signed legislation here in the state of Illinois so that womens' reproductive rights are protected regardless of what happens at the federal level," he said. 

The news conference came the morning after President Donald Trump announced his nomination to replace Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy with Washington D.C. federal Judge Brett Kavanaugh, signaling a possible shift to the right in the political dynamics of the nation’s highest court.

During the debate on HB40, lawmakers warned that the bill was necessary in the event that Roe v. Wade was overturned. Trigger language in the law would take effect should that happen, ensuring access to abortion is still enshrined in Illinois law.
