Trump understands it is a bad policy to support vast majority of defense of Nato Countries while they make deals with Russia who the U.S. is protecting Europe from. A side issue is the National Debt of the U.S. We borrow money at a interest, then give that money to foreign countries that often do things that are against U.S. policy. Remember we have plenty of poor in our country that could use some of that money. All countries in NATO should pay their fair share.
