Real estate experts say Pritzker’s toilet troubles could be criminal

Real estate experts say J.B. Pritzker, Democrat candidate for Illinois governor, may have some serious legal problems stemming from a leaked report outlining how he allegedly manipulated Cook County’s tax system to lower his property tax bill.

The leaked report from Cook County’s top watchdog revisits how the Chicago billionaire got tax breaks totaling more than $300,000 by ripping out the toilets and altering other parts of one of his Gold Coast mansions shortly before having it deemed uninhabitable by a private appraiser.

Pritzker told reporters Monday that the leak is politically motivated, having been released the month before election day, but said he would comply with any recommendations. He said Tuesday he would repay the $330,000 in taxes

The report contains a subpoenaed email from one contractor to another telling them Pritzker’s wife wants the home made uninhabitable before an appraisal.

“MK [Pritzker’s wife] is now getting back into the task of cleaning up 1431 N. Astor,” read an email from a contractor to another. “She is going to have the house reassessed as an uninhabitable structure. To do this, she would like to have us pull all toilets and cap all toilet lines in the house. Then, after the assessment, she would like us to put the first floor toilet back in and have this as the one functioning bathroom in the place.”

The report by Cook County Inspector General Patrick Blanchard concluded that Pritzker was involved in a scheme that included “obtaining money by means of false representations and, in executing the scheme, the responsible parties caused checks to be issued by the Cook County Treasurer and delivered by U.S. Mail according to the direction thereon.”

Richard Hagar, senior residential appraiser with the Appraisal Institute and an expert witness in a number of appraisal lawsuits, says the report outlines a classic case of fraud.

“That appraisal will be used by a government agency to make a decision. That is equal to lying to that government agency,” he said, adding that the evidence of multiple entities acting together to willfully deceive a government entity is possibly a breach of federal conspiracy laws.

“If these other people are aware of the goal, a good prosecutor, I would think, have a case for a conspiracy,” he said.

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx and Attorney General Lisa Madigan did not respond to requests for comment about whether either of their offices would investigate.

Pritzker's campaign would not respond to requests for comment on the feasibility of the report amounting to criminal charges.

Nathan J. Noble, a real estate attorney based in Belvidere, says the law prohibits a property tax reduction if the structure has purposefully been rendered uninhabitable.

"It certainly is questionable whether the portion of the premises was 'rendered' uninhabitable - as the statute contemplates 'by accidental means' or rendered reasonably uninhabitable by a legitimate remodel as opposed to a fabricated controlled effort to render an otherwise uncondemnable property uninhabitable – when apparently someone was ordered to remove all plumbing fixtures and appliances from the property," he said, adding that there may be exceptions hidden in Illinois' laws on the matter.

"There seems to be nothing accidental about how this home became uninhabitable."

Is America really in a WAR? Internally? Yes, of course. Do most of us not want to accept that or recognize it? Yes of course. We want to “think” this is just politics as usual. But are the informed, good, honest Americans mislead in that thinking? Sadly, yes I think so.

How we got here is somewhat being camouflaged for sure. But somehow todays 2018 Extremist Democrat leaders have propagandized the trusting and un informed Democratic members across the country into believing their actions are good. Believing such things as those Tax Dollars back into your pocket is a bad thing just does not make sense. Todays 2018 Extremist Democrat leaders are a different breed from the days of honorable debate and bantered disagreements. Maybe this started with Ted Kennedy, or a Joe Biden who certainly committed a lot of distasteful acts. Todays 2018 Extremist Democrat leaders are far beyond that. Today it’s attacks on traditional American values, Faith, Religion, Education, Flag, Life, Security, Love Of Country, our history, through which bathroom is best for our own children. It goes deeper and further and into a RESIST at any cost mentality. Clearly, they have abandoned the days of honor, truth, and personal integrity.

Take for example their behavior in front and behind the scenes on the Kavanaugh Confirmation. On one side we have a man of impeccable character, impeccable. One who has passed six (6) FBI background checks, and days upon days of questioning. On the other side we have a last second sprung Woman, who under therapy recalled a memory 35 years ago of groping at age 15. This Groping was translated into attempted Rape by the way. A woman who cannot recall the date, location, time, or how she arrived or departed the event. A woman who’s own named witnesses have under threat of perjury all denied any knowledge what so ever of even being present let alone any knowledge of such event. ALL witnesses. By itself, we have what common sense tells us is a story by a troubled person. However, we have a #Metoo era upon us. Todays 2018 Extremist Democrat leaders colluded secretly to hide behind the #Metoo campaign, dishonorably so, to exploit a troubled woman, destroy an honorable man, all to delay the selection of a conservative constitutionalist to the Supreme Court. Oh they immediately spread lies about how this man would halt Abortions to fire up the crowd too, but we all know this has turned into a dishonorable, shameful, deceitful act by todays 2018 Extremist Democrat leaders. This is Who They Are, This Is How They Want To Govern, and We Can See Them Clearly here. Despicable me, me, me scoundrels. A couple of them actually intend to run for POTUS in 2020.

As for myself, I am so frustrated with bitterness and anguish over todays 2018 Extremist Democrat leaders behavior. I consider myself to be a good person, a loyal American, a fair person. A person now surrounded by scoundrels ready to put my country down, and at any cost. It’s an awful feeling really. Literally all my staunch Democrat Party friends and family have now walked away from todays 2018 Extremist Democrat leaders for sure. I can’t help but wonder just what type of person still thinks the behavior of todays 2018 Extremist Democrat leaders is a good thing? How could any fair minded, honesty seeking person accept this behavior in silence let alone support it? The Media makes you think 25 protesters are a 1,000 and refuses to show the crowd of ten’s of thousand at POTUS rallies. Amazing.

One thig for sure is that America will decide in November to either turn control over to todays 2018 Extremist Democrat leaders or stay the course with POTUS Trump successful policy and results. Common sense is Stay The Course. We can agree to disagree in an honorable manner, but we could never agree that todays 2018 Extremist Democrat leaders destructive deceptions are acceptable.

I understand that as taxes increase property values decrease, and more people are either forced to move or figured out that paying rent in the from of Increasing Property Taxes is a good reason to get out while the getting is good. A $6000 Property Tax bill equals $500 per month. People aren't stupid! everyone knows the tax right over the border is much lower. The people in homer Glen where I live have had it with taxes and our ever increasing water bills. Seniors and others on a fixed income see so much of their disposable income taken away (legally stolen) they have to move or struggle to make ends meet. The problem is that increasing taxes erode the home value so people can't sell for what they think their property is worth.

The only people moving to Illinois are those who have to because of their job.  The people left that don't move get the privilege of paying higher taxes to make up for those who stay.

I am a Will County Board Member. The first 2 years I was on the Board the Democrats controlled the Board and the taxes were raised to the max. The next 3 years the Republicans gained control and the the tax rate was reduced each year. As part of the Will County Board Republican Majority we did not impose a public safety tax which the Democrats were pushing to pay for building a new Public Safety Building, Health Department, and Court House. The Republican majority made cuts in spending to make the Capital Projects work while reducing the tax rate. As a Board member I was part of the group removing County Board Members from the IMRF   Pension program, giving no pay raises to elected County Offices. As a Board member I find it important to spend taxpayer money as if it were my own. Less government, taxes, and regulation are my guiding principals. 

Laws or Regulations that are not enforced, make little since, or just a way for government to make money need to be removed or changed. Examples: Getting your money back if you are found not guilty in court for towing, storage, and administration fees is just the right thing to do and is now part of the Will County ordinance. Making it so The County can't use Aerial Photos to initiate code violations and that violations are to be complaint driven so the County is not looking for violations unless there is a complaint. Contractor now get a 2 hour window as to when the inspector will show up to approve continuing construction. This means contractors won't have to pay employees for  waiting for an inspector to show up.

It is important to stand for issues that benefit people. Since being on the Will County Board I championed many which can be read on my website www.electbalich.com 

As a citizen I championed a tax referendum in 2016 which passed with 87% of the vote. This was advisory but about half of the taxing bodies listened to the will of the people. I go to the schools, fire districts and the Township and demand they do not raise the Levy. I say any person  voting a property tax increase has the disease "Raise my Taxitis". Every taxpayer should take the time to go to the meetings and voice their opinion. Every Taxpayer can send emails and make phone calls to stop office holders from getting then dred disease "Raise My Taxitis". I have been fighting raising the property tax Levy since 2008 and will continue. By getting Citizens Utility Board (CUB) involved we were able to get the Illinois American Water rate increase reduced by over 50%. The rate still went up but not as much as it could have. I am a member of St. Joseph Club, St. Bernards Church, Homer Chamber Advisory Committee, Will County Board Republican Majority, as well as donating and sponsoring numerous community groups and associations.

Democratic socialists want to grow government to solve a problem created by government

The political philosophy of democratic socialism is ascendant in the Democrat Party. From party bigwigs to grumpy old uncle Bernie Sanders to the new darling of the left, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Democrats are finally openly embracing what they long denied — that they desire a collectivist, property-free socialist society with all power channeled to government. Like all statists, democratic socialists want to grow government to solve a problem created by government, and to do so under cover of mob rule (the vote). Socialism is a philosophy of envy. When one sees something another has and decides he wants it, rather than earn it on his own merits he wants the power of government to take it and either give it to him or redistribute it to the masses. Often the socialist doesn't want that something for himself as much as he doesn't want someone else to have it. Socialism is also a philosophy of racism, weakness, ineptitude and collectivism in that it assumes one gained what he has by way of special privilege not afforded everyone if they are of a different race or creed or social standing (a minority); and that one cannot obtain a thing or advance economically without the assistance of government or the collective. When American politicians talk about "rights" and "liberty," they certainly are not talking about our personal and individual liberty. For them, "rights" and "liberty" are code words for groupism (the crowd). Politicians and bureaucrats never remotely consider personal or individual liberty. Government under any name or label is all about making and passing laws that strengthen and grow government. Where there are many laws, there is no individual freedom. Where there is no individual freedom, there is no freedom at all. Politicians and bureaucrats have so skillfully imposed the word "democracy" into the lexicon that the crowd confuses groupism with individual liberty. Democracy by all definitions is mob rule, or groupism. It is anathema to individual liberty. Democracy does not equal human liberty. Democracy precisely means the manipulated mob. Mobs are rarely if ever spontaneous. They are usually manipulated events like the Arab Spring events of a few of years ago or the Antifa riots of late and coming to a city near you. As always, the spokesmen for the "movements" talk about creating or reinstalling democracy and liberty as their motivation. Politicians and their useful idiots must do this in order to confirm and reaffirm their political identity to the eyes and ears of the system bosses. Lawyers love socialism except for themselves. Why? It's because they created it and they parasite off it. Have you noticed that the Bar Association in every country always supports government? Lawyers write the laws that channel all power, authority and wealth to the government. They create confusion so the people can't understand the law and can't understand esoteric (hidden) political and "legal" manipulation of the public. So lawyers create socialism and label it democracy. Socialism is a disguised system of stealing the wealth and production of the producers of wealth with spurious laws. Stealing or taking from producers and transferring it to nonproducers make for very sophisticated and concealed class warfare. In other words, it is a parasite system with the parasites ruling and fleecing their host through deception. It is obvious that government parasites have to have "friends" and allies. They are not at all confused about who their natural allies are. Politicians and bureaucrats achieve balance of power (deceptive rule by consent) by subtly playing economic class, cultural and racial minorities against the producers. Producers are softened and neutered into passiveness by a constant campaign of altruistic propaganda. It works! Producers and creators actually become persuaded that they should support the system of unequal equality. Now the politicians have a double lock on the public mind. It is their ultimate goal that guarantees their safety and security and preparation for the New World Order — already in existence. The more complete the deception, the more complete the power. There is yet another element that guarantees the survival and credibility of "democracy." It is the covert and implied sanction of organized religion — not Christianity, but a very well concealed Oriental mysticism that pervades organized religion. It is an esoteric force for world unity. Manipulating minorities who are naturally drawn to socialism is a basic political strategy to justify government politics and plunder. Who are minorities? They are, of course, the racial minorities. But there are a whole lot more than that. There are homosexual minorities, feminine minorities, so-called "civil rights" minorities, cultural minorities and all the minorities that make up the "diversity" of the nation. Public policy is molded on these manipulated minority influences, all contributing to the power and collectivism of government. This is all an invisible charade, an organism, with a totally different and opposite orientation to individual liberty. It is in reality New Age slavery, a benevolent totalitarianism, an illusion of freedom. One can always identify minority special interests simply because they welcome government intervention and intrusion (socialism) as a net for perceived social inequality, poverty and underachievement. Guilt manipulation and all manner of charades are used to force social and economic equality where none is earned. Organized religion does not recognize human diversity and natural inequality. All are deserving of the blessings of God and the equal benefits of the community. Nothing is ever mentioned about earning social and economic benefits through personal achievement. Manipulating minorities who are naturally drawn to socialism is a basic political strategy to justify government politics and plunder. The principle of government is that political power is maximized by forcibly leveling every individual to the same status of conformity, collectivism, ecumenicalism and serfdom. The truth goes deeper. Because of perceived social, cultural, racial and psychic inferiority, minorities desire to parasite on government force and socialism to subvert those they envy and wish to imitate. It would never succeed except for the very sophisticated propaganda of altruism. Altruism has a double meaning. To the unsuspecting public, it appears good. But it is hypocrisy with a hidden agenda to cover evil. It is the philosophical basis of democracy and benevolent totalitarianism. Altruism cleverly hides the depravity of human nature. It makes evil appear good and good appear evil. See no evil, hear no evil, do no evil permeates the propaganda. It conceals the political agenda, promotes ignorance of public health, creates a state of mind of dependence on government and the medical establishment and quashes every form of individualism, independence and creative thinking. The people must be controlled without being aware. Non-awareness is the key.

Plainfield -- State Representative Mark Batinick is inviting his entire district to dinner.  Between now and the election residents will be invited to a rolling series of complimentary dinners.  "It is time to get past the talking points and have serious conversations about policy," said Batinick,   That's the type of campaign I want to run."  Residents will be receiving a personal invite in smaller groups.  The goal is to have a more detailed discussion about the issues facing Illinois and how to solve them.   Batinick added, "In my election four years ago I realized that it is actually less expensive to have the entire district over to for dinner than to run an election the way they are often run these days.  I'm going to do that."

The Globalist Agenda Of The Left: What You Need To Know

The left has made it clear that their mission is to expand their agenda on an epic scale.

Their ideology has already permeated many U.S. corporations, the mainstream media, Hollywood, and our public schools.

Now, the propaganda of the left is spreading worldwide, and a disturbing new idea has made its way to global organizations that will continue to erode values of any kind.

Global human rights organizations like Amnesty International and the World Health Organization are adopting progressive ideology in every corner of the world.

Their most recent idea?  Decriminalizing prostitution with new policies labeled as “safety for sex workers.”

The Guardian’s Jessica Neuwirth reported:

Amnesty is arguing that prostitution is a matter of free choice, a stance heavily promoted by the multibillion-dollar commercial sex industry. The group is putting forth the view that sex work is compatible with the principle of gender equality and nondiscrimination, as if it were a job like any other.

“By definition,” Amnesty’s proposal states, “sex work means that sex workers who are engaging in commercial sex have consented to do so.” This definition fails to take into account the dire economic need, the childhood sexual abuse, the brutal coercion employed by pimps, and the vast power differences of sex and race that drive the commercial sex industry.

Their approach is that prostitution is an occupation like any other and that a woman’s body is a commodity like any other that she should have the right to sell.

They feel that keeping prostitution as a criminal activity “harms” those who work in the sex trade willingly or use the income to support their families.

They rationalize that decriminalization would remove the stigma associated with the sex trade, and therefore more sex workers would more willingly access healthcare services.

The World Health Organization is using this a­­spect in its appeal, saying it would decrease sexually-transmitted diseases, calling it a “human rights issue.”

The push for this change by AI and the WHO would not only decriminalize “consensual sex work,” but also the “laws and regulations related to selling and buying or organizing sex work, such as solicitation, renting premises, “brothel keeping” and living off the proceeds of prostitution,” according to Amnesty’s report.

And while they say these changes would prevent sex trafficking, decriminalizing the work of prostitutes would include the countless minors who are forced against their will into the sex trade.

The Guardian continued:

Perhaps Amnesty should look to the 1949 UN Convention on trafficking, which characterizes prostitution and sex trafficking as “incompatible with the dignity and worth of the human person and endanger[ing] the welfare of the individual, the family and the community”. If the organization endorses prostitution as a human right, it won’t be supporting the women who might have no choice but to have sex for money, but rather the pimps and buyers of sex who have all the choice in the world.

Amnesty is urging its membership to separate prostitution and sex trafficking as entirely unrelated. Yet common sense and the economics of supply and demand dictate that demand for prostitution fuels sex trafficking to supply it: not all prostituted women are sex trafficking victims, but all sex trafficking victims are sold into prostitution.

The World Health Organization has a similar proposal to that of Amnesty – and they want to take it one step further with a shocking set of recommendations to be implemented on a global scale.

In a report entitled “Decriminalizing the Behavior of Key Populations,” the WHO recommends to its member nations that:

Countries should work toward decriminalization of sex work and elimination of the unjust application of non-criminal laws and regulations against sex workers.

Countries should work toward developing policies and laws that decriminalize injection and other use of drugs and, thereby, reduce incarceration.  Countries should ban compulsory treatment for people who use and/or inject drugs.

Countries should work toward developing policies and laws that decriminalize same-sex behaviours and nonconforming gender identities. Countries should work towards legal recognition for transgender people.

It is recommended that sexual and reproductive health services, including contraceptive information and services, be provided for adolescents without mandatory parental and guardian authorization/notification.

So not only does the WHO recommend decriminalizing prostitution, they also want to decriminalize all drugs, legally recognize transgendered people as someone different than who they were born as, and provide teens with birth control and abortions without parental consent.

If you’re outraged, consider this:  The U.S. is a member nation of the World Health Organization and member partner of Amnesty International.

In the case of the WHO, the organization is funded by “assessments” on member nations, like membership dues, that can run in the millions of dollars being paid by the members’ governments.

The WHO is an agency of the United Nations, and for the U.S. last year, that meant about 1.2 billion dollars in funding to the UN’s left-leaning globalist organizations.

And guess where the government gets that money?  That’s right – we, the taxpayers.

As the left digs its heels in across the globe and infiltrates global organizations that use our money to fund immoral programs, we may wonder how it can possibly get worse.

Although Amnesty and the WHO receive most of their funding from member nations, they also receive vast sums from businesses and private donors.

Other UN agencies like UNICEF are also culpable in this anti-life, sickening agenda in the name of “humanitarianism.”  Mommy Underground previously reported on the shocking programs funded by UNICEF.

Until member nations say “enough is enough” and stop caving to the radical agenda of the left, individuals can research where their donations are going and cease giving any more of their hard-earned money to these organizations.

The battle for the mind is the most malicious type of warfare conducted upon us by unseen powers. We call it "psychological warfare" because we are programmed by the system, and our programmed beliefs go from generation to generation the same as genetics.

Unless we break the pattern of programmed thought, we may hold erroneous beliefs for hundreds of years without question.

We build our lives or we self-destruct according to our ability and our inclination to break the programming code or preconditioning of the system. Not many do.

The philosophy of the system (government) must be evaluated in terms of human liberty. Human suppression is more psychological control than physical coercion. Those who control our minds control our physical and monetary assets including our physical bodies.

The establishment creates and uses words and phrases to control our thoughts and actions. It's this subtle system of psychological warfare and programming that creates conformity.

Governments insist on conformity because governments want to control the people. Where there is conformity, there is control.

Edward L. Bernays, the nephew of Sigmund Freud, knew a thing or two about mass persuasion. He is the father of manipulative propaganda in America. In his book Propaganda, Bernays writes:

Those who manipulate the unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested largely by men we have never heard of. In almost every act of our lives, whether in the sph…

So the words and phrases the establishment creates and uses against us can rightly be called control words or control phrases. My term for them is code words, and I have listed some of them here and here.

The art and science of mass mind control has reached its zenith. The fact that so few suspect it, attests to its perfection.

Totalitarianism by and of the elite has been refined into a "benevolency" that is embraced by the people. Indeed the people have been seduced to their enslavement through this mind control. Evil has been made to appear good and good has become evil.

Psychological warfare excludes objective reality. There are no options to choose that would benefit the individual. All options are funneled toward the benefit of government and the elite. All that's left is myth and counter-myth.

Here are some social, political, economic and health myths that are used to deceive the people:

Democracy — Democracy is a great pretension of open debate. Indeed it is open debate but only on spurious issues. It implies an open and free society in the public mind but is instead no less totalitarianism than socialism, communism and fascism.

Democrat vs. Republican — It's hard to believe the American people can imagine a difference when, regardless of whether the "D" Party is in charge or the "R" party, the federal leviathan grows, the direction of the country never changes and more liberties are lost.

The government promotes savings for retirement through IRAs and 401(k)s — Government uses these deceptions as one means to regulate consumption by taking vast sums of "dollars" out of circulation until they can inflate the purchasing power out of existence. It also serves to help prop up the stock market giving the illusion of prosperity and enriching the banksters.

There is a national debt — Impossible, according to Federal Reserve publication Keeping Our Money Healthy, published by the Federal Reserve of New York. The Federal Reserve System works only with credit. It is an imaginary system represented in the public mind as numbers or computer symbols. How can there be a deficit of numbers that can be created to infinity?

Terrorism/War on Terror — Governments since the Roman Empire have created enemies to instill fear in the population so that the people are manipulated into giving more police power over to the government. Politicians always go along with this Machiavellian deception. This time they created the "Patriot Act" — how appropriate — and the indefinite detention articles of the National Defense Authorization Act, and launched endless wars under the guise of "War on Terror." Yet 17 years of "War on Terror" has only made more "terror" in more places. There is such blatant oppression of the people and the economic system is on the verge of unraveling, more fear and more war is needed to manipulate the people against their own freedom. Oh, you know this. And yes, they have this time added a touch of religion to enlist fanatics.

The mainstream media are objective — The media have never been "objective" or fair as people believe. The media have always used innate biases in selecting the stories it covers and the way the stories are slanted and edited. The major media are little more than government mouthpieces which disseminate information fed them by the elites. Many of the major players in national media are either CIA operatives or members of the Council on Foreign Relations/Trilateral Commission.

Social Security is going broke — Social Security is not an accounting discipline but a Ponzi scheme. "They" can print the money so Social Security will not go broke but the "money" paid out will go broke in purchasing power.

We get all the vitamins and nutrition we need from our food — Impossible with the American diet. Eighty percent of Americans are malnourished.

There's no difference between synthetic and natural vitamins — False. Synthetic vitamins are chemicals. Natural vitamins are food.

The government, the medical establishment and the pharmaceuticals promote health — Nothing could be further from the truth. People don't need drugs or doctors. Sick people especially don't need drugs or doctors. They need nutrition.

Euthanasia is a quick and painless death — Euthanasia can happen over many years as drugs and immunizations usually kill slowly. The system can reduce the population without blame if they do it over time so as to separate cause and effect.

Unless and until we decipher these myths, we will never see liberty for ourselves or our progeny.

“Batinick buyout” pension reform to become law

SPRINGFIELD – State Representative Mark Batinick (R-Plainfield) today lauded passage of budget legislation which included pension reform language closely resembling a plan he introduced in 2016 and 2017. When Batinick introduced the proposal he was the first in the United States to propose such a concept, which has since been enacted into law in Missouri.

“If we are going to solve our long-term fiscal problems in Illinois we have to make changes to our pension system. This bill begins to do just that.”

House Bill 3342, the budget implementation bill which passed the House today, includes the “Batinick Buyout,” a plan for a buyout of vested inactive members of the five state-funded pension systems. It also includes an optional buyout of the 3% compounding cost of living adjustment at retirement. Batinick expects these changes to substantially reduce the state’s unfunded pension liability, saving taxpayers millions in contributions.

“These ideas give us a constitutional way to address the budget crisis,” Batinick said. “We have a lot more work to do, but I believe we are now one step closer to getting the state’s fiscal house in order for the long term.”

The bill passed both houses by large, bipartisan margins. Governor Rauner has indicated that he will sign it when it reaches his desk.

Are you walking the line between prediabetes and a type 2 diagnosis?

Even doctors will tell you that type 2 diabetes is one of the most preventable diseases. But it takes willpower and commitment.

But let me ask you… would you rather work at eating better and being more physically active than resigning yourself to a lifetime of medication and possibly needles?

Well, if you’ve been told you’re teetering that fine line between prediabetes and a full-blown type 2 diagnosis, you are at a crossroads…

An old friend of mine, who happens to be a doctor, once told me that it’s easier to avoid disease than it is to cure it. That same doctor profoundly believed that food is medicine.

So if you decide to take a long hard look at your diet, for starters, I have some information you’re going to want to put to use…

Antioxidants are diabetes kryptonite

Of course, sugars and carbohydrates are the major foods you need to eat a whole lot less of, to put blood sugar spikes behind you. Every time your blood sugar spikes, you inch closer to that type 2 diagnosis.

Foods that help you maintain a healthier weight just so happen to also be the foods that can help you tame your blood sugar… like plenty of nutrient-rich fresh vegetables and lean meats. And don’t forget to avoid the processed stuff like the plague.

But to really ramp up your anti-diabetes diet, make the most of what you eat by choosing foods highest in antioxidants, and here’s why…

Several studies have shown that certain nutrients, such as vitamins C and E, lycopenes and flavonoids were associated with a reduction in type 2 diabetes risk. But most recently, a team at the Center of Research in Epidemiology and Population Health in Villejuif, France, suspected there might be a further dietary link.

Since these previous studies looked only at isolated nutrients, not at the total antioxidant capacity of the diet, the researchers set out to verify whether overall diet, according to its antioxidant capacity, is associated with diabetes risk.

They followed 64,223 women for 35 years. Each participant completed a dietary questionnaire at the beginning of the study, including detailed information on more than 200 different food items.

Using this information, together with an Italian database providing the antioxidant capacity of a large number of different foods, the team calculated a score for “total dietary antioxidant capacity” for each participant. The group then analyzed the associations between this score and the risk of diabetes occurrence during the follow-up period.

The results were clear.

Women with the highest antioxidant scores had a reduction in diabetes risk of 27 percent compared with those with the lowest scores.

In fact, diabetes risk diminished with increased antioxidant consumption up to a level of 15 mmol/day, which could be achieved through eating antioxidant-rich foods such as dark chocolate, tea, walnuts, prunes, blueberries, strawberries or hazelnuts… to name a few.

The foods and drinks that contributed the most to a high dietary antioxidant score were fruits and vegetables, tea and red wine (consumed in moderate quantities).

Getting more antioxidants in your diet

So, if you want to stay healthy and keep that type 2 diagnosis far, far away, it looks like getting more antioxidants in your diet could certainly help.

To do this, you’ll need to eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.

If you prefer your vegetables cooked, just remember these few things to preserve their antioxidant capacity:

• Don’t peel

• Minimize chopping

• Don’t soak in water pre-cooking

• Cook quickly at a high heat rather than slowly on a lower heat

• Don’t cook in copper pots (this reduces the amount of vitamin C)
• Frozen veggies are good sources of antioxidants
• Steam or microwave to retain the most nutritional value

You can also get a boost of antioxidant power from green tea or matcha (a type of green tea made from powdered tea leaves), which you can add to yogurt or your morning smoothie.

Planned Parenthood Demands Disney Expose Young Girls To The Unthinkable

Planned Parenthood officially went off the deep end and tweeted an outrageous post for the world to see.

Even worse, this post targeted young girls in the worst possible way.

And in typical Planned Parenthood fashion, they used Disney to lure young girls into accepting this horrific act.

Planned Parenthood fully knows little girls look up to Disney Princesses.

A Disney Princess has a way of capturing a little girl’s heart, and young girls grow up watching Disney and aspire to be Disney Princesses themselves.

But in a sick and twisted attempt to play to a little girl’s heart, Planned Parenthood actually tweeted Disney should make a pro-choice princess who has had an abortion.

Facing massive backlash, Planned Parenthood has since deleted the tweet, but the damage was already done.

LifeSite News reported:

“We need a disney princess who’s had an abortion We need a disney princess who’s pro-choice,” read a tweet from Planned Parenthood Keystone’s official Twitter account, published Tuesday morning.

It has since been deleted, but a screenshot of the tweet is preserved below.”

Planned Parenthood is trying to groom girls while they are young into thinking abortion is cool and normal.

But as Mommy Underground previously reported, Planned Parenthood does not care about girls and often cover up sexual abuse and misconduct.

And while it would be nice to think Disney would roll their eyes at this ridiculous tweet, the way Disney has behaved lately; it’s certainly possible they’ll consider a princess whose

“had an abortion.”

As Disney  continues to introduce pro-LBGT characters to their shows, nothing is out of the question when it comes to Disney, as reported earlier on Mommy Underground.

Sadly, families can’t count on the good old-fashioned Disney classics we all once knew.

And as for Planned Parenthood, they are coming after young girls with a vengeance.

Make no mistake; they will team up with any company possible to push abortions onto girls.

Their latest tweet shows nothing is too low for them.

The Daily Wire reported:

“Instead of teaching our youth to stand up for the voiceless and celebrate true diversity, Planned Parenthood wants our children to be desensitized to the death of the innocent, especially those with abnormalities whom they deem unworthy of life — in the name of feminism, of course.

And this is not even shocking.

This is modern day Western feminism in a nutshell.

Forget the (deceitful) days of “safe, legal, and rare,” abortion is “empowering.”

Just ask the #ShoutYourAbortion crowd.

To Planned Parenthood and company, female empowerment is to be achieved by signaling to young girls that your own pursuits outweigh the right to life of another, that killing your own unborn child is not an unholy fatal act, but a worthy and commendable feminist sacrament.”

Little girls as young as 3 and 4 grow up watching Disney.

To think Planned Parenthood has deemed it acceptable to push the pro-abort message onto innocent preschoolers is beyond unconscionable.

Whatever remaining conscience Planned Parenthood has, is now seared. Their hearts are hardened, and no woman, no matter how young, is off limits to them.

Conservatives must speak up and stand as a barrier and shield young girls from the hands of the enemy.
