Chicago –
September 28, 2018 –
In a
powerful collaboration between NRBTV, FOUR:2 Media, and Moody Church Media, a
documentary on the life and legacy of the provocative monk Martin Luther, A
CALL FOR FREEDOM, has received five Emmy® Award nominations from the Chicago
Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences
(NATAS).
A CALL FOR
FREEDOM, shot in Germany, is no dry history lesson, but delves into the passion
and heart of Martin Luther. Hosted by best-selling author Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer,
it presents eye-opening insights into how the Reformation still influences us
today.
Troy Miller, NRBTV Present/CEO and Executive
Producer of
A CALL FOR FREEDOM, said, “This was an incredible project that started off with
Dr. Lutzer’s passion for the reformation, and
more
importantly the Gospel. I’m very indebted to the teams at FOUR:2 Media and
Moody for exceptional production work, writing, and editing. This was an outstanding
project to be part of.”
President
and CEO of TLN, Debra Fraser said, “We were privileged to work with two
tremendous organizations in such a creative way. The fact that the documentary
was transformed from an idea to a masterpiece in less than a year is remarkable
and a reflection on the talent of our team.”

Joel Mains said, “Last summer, a small group of us set off on a massively
challenging adventure to turn a daunting topic, the Protestant Reformation,
into an engaging and fast-moving special about how it has impacted our modern
culture. We’re gratified that the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of NATAS has
recognized this important project.”
“These
nominations are a great encouragement to me,” said Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer, Pastor
Emeritus at The Moody
Church “and
more importantly, emphasize the need for the message of the Reformation to be
heard anew in a world that is short on good news. Joel Mains and his team from
