California Illegally Hires Undocumented Immigrant For State Position

California Illegally Hires Undocumented Immigrant For State Position

From Mommy Underground  March 2018
California has been on the fringes of United States federal law for some time. They continue to push the envelope of what they believe to be just laws, and what legislation currently mandates.
Whether it’s the use of dangerous chemicals, recreational marijuana use, taxes, or immigration policies, California has rebelled against all things conservative.
The liberal state has created a chasm between President Trump and themselves, pushing back with unconstitutional actions.
Coming just weeks after Oakland, California’s mayor, Libby Schaaf, warned undocumented immigrants of a coming ICE raid, another antic put them in the political spotlight.
Fox News Insider reported:
In a first-of-its-kind decision, the state of California appointed an undocumented immigrant to a statewide post.
Lizbeth Mateo, 33, was appointed to a committee that advises the California Student Aid Commission, even though it is illegal to hire an undocumented immigrant.”
President Trump was in San Diego, California days before the announcement that Mateo was hired. He was speaking on California’s extremely liberal immigration policies, while there to see prototypes of the upcoming wall between the United States and Mexico.
Newsweek reported more on the tensions between the White House and California:
The president has repeatedly condemned California’s allowance of sanctuary cities, writing on Twitter on Wednesday that “California’s sanctuary policies are illegal and unconstitutional and put the safety and security of our entire nation at risk.
“Thousands of dangerous and violent criminal aliens are released as a result of sanctuary policies, set free to prey on innocent Americans. THIS MUST STOP!” he added.
The U.S. leader also lashed out at the state’s governor, Jerry Brown, saying he was doing a “terrible” job. Brown hit back, saying, “Thanks for the shout-out, Donald Trump. But bridges are still better than walls.”
Brown’s statement is a weak attempt at taking a moral high ground. Ironically, it holds to a historically dangerous and compromised position.
Since the Neolithic age, civilizations have protected the preservation of their people by surrounding their cities with walls. Bridges were built for the travel of citizens but were kept up in order not to be pillaged and taken over.
The media and progressives alike find it convenient to point out the portion of undocumented immigrants that are the students and grandmas looking to make a way for themselves.
Which would be fine if they did it legally. The big portion of undocumented immigrants the media doesn’t like to cover because it’s not good for the agenda is the violent offenders that are claiming sanctuary on U.S. territory, and California is supporting them.
The fact of illegally immigrated criminals is evident in the almost 200 arrests by ICE recently, despite the Oakland Mayor’s irrational decision.
Please see our article “Oakland Mayor Tried To Protect Violent Offenders” to get more details on the types of crimes that were among the detainees.
Lizbeth Mateo, who now resides on a California committee, is a recent sworn in attorney. California became the first state to allow undocumented immigrants to practice law in 2014.
Senate President Pro Tempore Kevin de Leon speaks highly of Mateo.
Newsweek reported:
While Donald Trump fixates on walls, California will continue to concentrate on opportunities,” de León told The Sacramento Bee in a statement. “Ms. Mateo is a courageous, determined and intelligent young woman who at great personal risk has dedicated herself to fight for those seeking their rightful place in this country.”
While I’m sure Mateo is an intelligent and determined young woman, it is illogical, and found nowhere in the Constitution, that anyone who wishes to be here has a “rightful place in this country.”
Citizens of the nation in which they reside have rights. No other country in the world would take that stance, simply because an individual desires citizenship status they should be given it; regardless of their efforts to be in compliance with native law.
Newsweek reported:
Mateo said she welcomed the opportunity, telling the newspaper, “While undocumented students have become more visible in our state, they remain under-represented in places where decisions that affect them are being made.”
It is only logical that decisions be made by government officials about people that have infiltrated the country illegally.
Mateo came to the United States when she was 14 with her parents from Oaxaca, Mexico. Since then she has become an activist for the dreamers.
A good role model for undocumented immigrants would be to show them how to obtain citizenship status legally, even though it may take more, time, money, or effort.
Instead, California is trying to make a role model of Mateo by showing undocumented immigrants they can just come here to avoid having to abide by the law, and they will reward you for it.
This is taking advantage of the things that make this country great, while simultaneously disrespecting the efforts, legislation, and enforcement of such, that made it that way.
