Time
to register for the 2018-19 school year
Be
prepared to present documents establishing residency
Registration is now underway in Homer School District 33C for the
2018-19 school year.
Instructions on how to complete the online process were mailed and
emailed to parents of returning
students (students currently enrolled in grades K-7) in early April.
Parents of incoming
kindergartners are asked to begin the registration process at one of
the district’s elementary schools between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the following
days: April 18, April 25, May 9, May 16, June 26, June 27 or June 28.
Students who are new to the
district and entering grades 1-8 are invited to begin the process at
their new school this summer. The schools will be open 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on
the following days: June 26-28; July 17-19; July 24-26; July 31; Aug. 1-2; or
Aug. 7-9.
Parents with multiple children may register at a single school. If you need to confirm which school your
child will attend, please call the District Office at (708) 226-7600.
Parents of incoming kindergartners and students who are new to the district
should be prepared to present the following documents:

Illinois driver’s license
or state ID with in-district address
●
Child’s certified county-issued birth certificate
●
Child’s valid Illinois
State physical
●
A student transfer form
from the child’s previous school, if applicable
●
Any court documents related
to guardianship, if applicable
●
Proof of residency,
including one of the
following:
●
Most recent real estate tax
bill
●
Mortgage document or
statement (dated within the last 60 days)
●
Signed current lease
●
Military housing letter
●
Section 8 housing letter
And Two
of the following:
●
Utility bill(s) -- cable,
phone, gas, electric, water, etc.
●
Vehicle Registration
●
Insurance statement: auto,
homeowner, rental
●
Medicaid card
All documents must be current (within the last 60 days) and include the
parent/guardian’s name and Homer 33C address. You must be a resident of Homer
33C at the time of registration.

Registration fees are as follows:

$155 for grades K-4
●
$185 for grades 5-7
●
$215 for grade 8 (including
a $25 graduation fee)
