(Natural News) When you think of a pandemic, global disease outbreaks like the Spanish flu that killed 50 million in the early 1900s or the more recent HIV/AIDS pandemic are what usually come to mind. However, some experts are warning that the next pandemic will come from an unexpected source – and it’s something that could largely be prevented if countries take the right precautions now.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), which is an advisor to the World Health Organization on initiatives for public health, has warned that public healthcare and spending face “disastrous consequences” if basic hospital hygiene is not improved and antibiotic use isn’t curbed.

The group said that superbugs could kill 2.4 million people by the year 2050; drug-resistant bacteria are already responsible for thousands of deaths, killing more than 33,000 Europeans in 2015 alone. The OECD said that the cost of treating these infections could climb to roughly $3.5 billion, on average, per year in each of the countries analyzed. The group said the countries are already spending around ten percent of their healthcare budget on antimicrobial-resistant bug treatment.

OECD public Health Leader Michele Cecchini said: “AMR costs more than the flu, more than HIV, more than tuberculosis. And it will cost even more if countries don’t put into place actions to tackle this problem.”

At the heart of this problem is the overuse of antibiotics, and we’re being hit from all angles. Doctors are prescribing antibiotics for viruses, which don’t respond to such medications, and they are also making their way into our bodies through agriculture and livestock products that are given such medications. As a result, many bacteria strains are developing that are able to resist the effects of antibiotics.

Resistance is already incredibly high in lower- and middle-income countries, with as much as 60 percent of the bacterial infections seen in places like Brazil, Russia and Indonesia already resistant to one or more antibiotics. The growth of these infections is expected to be 47 times faster in 2030.

Expert warn that even small kitchen cuts, minor surgeries and infections like pneumonia could turn deadly. The group also expressed concern about resistance to second-line and third-line antibiotics, which they say will swell by 70 percent by the year 2030. These types of antibiotics are supposed to be reserved for worst-case scenarios, but doctors are already using more of them when they should be using less, and that is seeing some of the best emergency options available right now taking a big hit.

How can this superbug pandemic be avoided?

The OECD says that the only way this superbug disaster could be prevented is by implementing widespread changes in healthcare immediately. For example, they stress that healthcare professionals need to make a better effort when it comes to hygiene in hospitals, washing hands regularly and instituting stricter safety rules.

Quicker testing to determine whether infections are viral or bacterial could also make a big difference as antibiotics are completely useless in the former case. Another approach that may be helpful is delayed prescriptions, which entails requiring patients to wait three days before they pick up antibiotic prescriptions. This is approximately the amount of time that a viral infection would take to run its course. In trials of this approach, two thirds of the patients who were given delayed antibiotic prescriptions never ended up collecting their medicine, which means that they did not take any needless antibiotics and exacerbate the problem.

According to Cecchini, such changes could cost as little as two dollars per person each year, paying for itself within a few months in addition to saving billions of dollars and millions of lives by mid-century.

Planning for the Invasion

As of Tuesday, the caravan of now more than 7,000 Central American invaders trekking through Mexico toward the United States was roughly 1,000 miles from the nearest point of entry. A second group of roughly 1,000 is also seeking to join them.

They may still be weeks away from our border, but this leaves little time for President Trump, Congress, and all Americans who care about our national sovereignty and the rule of law to solve three incredibly pressing challenges. I discussed these on Monday on Facebook.

First, we must determine – and do – what we can right now to end this invasion before it reaches our doorstep. Second, we must develop and execute a cohesive, efficient, effective plan for preventing these invaders from illegally crossing our border and swiftly deporting those who are successful. Finally, we must fix the debilitatingly stupid amalgam of immigration laws, policies, and court rulings that enable and encourage migrants to band together and stage these types of illegal invasions.

Newt Live: The Caravan Invasion

Should we fail to solve any of these problems, our already dysfunctional immigration system will be further crippled, our relationships with Mexico and our Central American neighbors could be severely damaged, our border will be overwhelmed by droves of new migrants, and America will become significantly less safe.

If this caravan is allowed to get through, the next caravan will be even bigger – and the one following that will be enormous. According the Gallup World Poll, 29 percent of people who want to migrate from Latin America and the Caribbean want to make the United States their permanent homes. That is 37 million people who want to come here. We must demand and ensure that they do so legally.

The clearest answer to alleviating this issue while the caravan is still in Mexico, is for Mexico to stop it. President Trump has already made clear that securing the border is more important than our recent trade agreement with our southern neighbor, and Mexico should take him seriously. Many of the members of this caravan forced their way through the Guatemala-Mexico border. They are already in violation of Mexican law, and Mexican law enforcement should take action.

Furthermore, we should not underestimate the degree to which human traffickers and transnational criminal gangs, such as MS-13 and other cartels, are involved with this invasion force. Mexican authorities should also be seeking to weed these elements out of this migrant army – and dealing with those who may have legitimate asylum claims through the Mexican system.

Our neighbors must understand that while they did not assertively deal with this problem at their southern border, they will own the problem if it gets to their northern border.

This relates to what we must do if or when the caravan is allowed to arrive at the U.S. border.

President Trump should instruct the Attorney General to issue a clarification to define the qualifications for asylum. Asylum is meant to provide protection for people who are fleeing real persecution and human rights abuses, such as genocide. Simply being from a poor country that lacks opportunities does not qualify someone for asylum.

We already have approximately 750,000 backlogged asylum cases, and some of those cases date back to 2014. These invaders should be screened (preferably in Mexico) so they never enter the U.S. system.

The federal government should also immediately begin coordinating with local and state governments along the border to develop an organized, completely nonviolent system that can deter these migrants from crossing into the United States and process and return those who do within a matter of days – not weeks, months, or years. I know Texas already works with federal officials to prepare for mass migration events. Other border states should follow suit (if they don’t already) and begin preparing now for this caravan’s potential arrival.

If we are serious about preventing this caravan invasion from being imitated, we must overwhelm them, stop them in their tracks, and quickly return them to their home countries. By my estimate, we should have four to five U.S. forces for every member of the caravan. If we want to protect our country, our border, and our rule of law, we must mobilize so much force that we don’t have to use it.

The news media should be allowed to cover the preparation and the overwhelming response to the caravan, so the members of the caravan – and every potential caravanner across Central and South America – will see that their plan will not work.

These first two problems are urgent and difficult. The third problem is just as urgent – but it is an order of magnitude more challenging. That is figuring out how we must fix our failing immigration system so that this type of situation doesn’t arise again.

Our immigration system has been completely broken by Democrat-backed laws that make it easier for immigrants to flood our system and stay in our country while their cases take years to process. It has been further hobbled by activist judicial rulings that have tied the hands of border enforcement officials and prevented them from keeping track of those who cross the border illegally.

Once we deal with the immediate problem of this invasion caravan, Republicans and the White House must work to fix our broken immigration system once and for all.

(Natural News) In May 2013, following a two-month trial and two weeks of deliberation, a jury convicted Philadelphia abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell on multiple counts of first-degree murder for killing three babies born alive at his westside clinic by severing their spinal cords.

While acquitting him of third-degree murder for the 2009 death of 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar of Virginia, who died from a drug overdose during an abortion procedure at his clinic, the jury nevertheless found him guilty of a lesser charge of manslaughter. He was given three life sentences.

The Washington Post reported at the time:

Gosnell, in a dark suit and a maroon shirt, furrowed his brow and shook his head slightly but remained stoic when the verdicts were read in a packed Philadelphia courtroom just before 3 p.m. One juror appeared to cry. Prosecutors smiled in relief and later hugged colleagues.

The jury also acquitted him of murder in the death of another infant, known as Baby E, whom prosecutors had struggled to prove was alive after delivery. Judge Jeffrey P. Minehart previously dismissed three additional first-degree murder charges against Gosnell, each involving other infants.

Before the trial prosecutors were fairly certain that Gosnell had killed many more babies than he was charged for, but they simply did not have enough proof, so they didn’t pursue additional charges. When it was all said and done, however, they came to believe that Gosnell was one of America’s biggest serial killers.

Now, a new film set for release tells this grisly story, including how arrogant Gosnell was during the investigation and subsequent trial. And while the movie doesn’t take a hard pro-life stance – it’s not political – the Left is nevertheless terrified of the impression it will leave in the minds of millions of Americans who see it, especially now that there is a rock-solid conservative majority on the Supreme Court.

As such, the usual suspects – big tech, the mainstream media, and the Left-wing entertainment industry – are doing all they can to censor the movie, “Gosnell: America’s Biggest Serial Killer,” because, you know, they’re all about the First Amendment when it isn’t being used to skewer one of the Left’s sacred cows.

As Infowars notes, Facebook has already refused to allow filmmakers to advertise the film on their platform. And one of the more popular crowdfunding sites, Kickstarter, have refused them as well. In addition, National Public Radio (which is taxpayer-funded) also refused to carry ads for the film.

NPR’s problem with the ads? They won’t allow filmmakers to call Gosnell two things that honestly and truthfully describe him: An “abortionist” and a “murderer.”

Besides these censorship efforts, the filmmakers have also been stopped from showing the film in private screenings.

The Left is afraid of the truth about Gosnell and abortion

The film, directed by Nick Searcy, produced by Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer, and stars Dean Cain of “Superman” fame, is based on Gosnell’s 30-year abortion practice as well as the political media establishment that tried to cover up his crimes. It was announced in 2014, less than a year after Gosnell was convicted. It opened Friday, Oct. 12.

The story begins with Cain’s character, Philly police Det. James Wood, as he and fellow officers serve a search warrant for drugs and other paraphernalia at a building housing Gosnell’s clinic over suspicions of illegal prescription drug sales. As officers search the premises, Det. Wood and others detect a strong, foul odor – rotting flesh – from an office. From there the film expertly captures the charged atmosphere that quickly built around the case: The legal questions, issues of race (Gosnell is black; Cain’s character is white and Catholic), pro-life, pro-choice, and other cultural, social, and political issues.

“Everyone needs to see the Gosnell movie, particularly young people,” noted Marjorie Dannenfelser of the Susan B. Anthony List. “I can’t recommend this movie more strongly. The Gosnell movie faces viewers with the brutality and inhumanity of abortion and it achieves this in a movie that looks as good as any Hollywood film. This movie will change hearts and minds about abortion. It needs to be available widely.”

Added Kristan Hawkins with Students for Life of America, “After watching the Gosnell movie, I’m angry, I’m sad, and I’m more motivated than ever to end abortion. Every American should watch GOSNELL. If pro-choice, they need to watch it and be able to defend their beliefs. If pro-life, they need to watch it and ask themselves why they aren’t active in ending this atrocity. This movie should be screened on every college campus in our nation.”

But of course, Americans will have to actually see it to know and understand its impact and why it’s so important at this point in our history. And the truth-hating Left is doing all it can to prevent that from happening.

During a visit to the Guatemalan town of Chiquimula, about 35 miles from the Honduran border, Judicial Watch encountered a rowdy group of about 600 men, ages 17 to about 40, marching north on a narrow two-lane highway. Among them was a 40-year-old Honduran man who previously lived in the United States for decades and got deported. His English was quite good, and he said his kids and girlfriend live in the U.S. Another man in his 30s contradicted media reports that caravan participants are fleeing violence and fear for their life. “We’re not scared,” he said waving his index finger as others around him nodded in agreement. “We’re going to the United States to get jobs.” Others chanted “vamos para allá Trump!” (We’re coming Trump) as they clenched their fists in the air. “We need money and food,” said a 29-year-old man who made the trek with his 21-year-old brother. All of the migrants interviewed by Judicial Watch repeated the same rehearsed line when asked who organized the caravan, insisting it was a spontaneous event even though there were clearly organizers shouting instructions in Spanish and putting select persons in front of cameras for interviews. A few claimed they heard about it on local news in Honduras. All of them said the caravan was not about politics but rather poverty. “I just want to get back to the U.S.,” said a 32-year-old man who admitted he has been deported from the U.S. twice. “We are all just looking for work.” The group radiated a sense of empowerment. One marcher, who appeared to be in his late teens, yelled “you go live in Honduras and see what it’s like!” Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, a conservative, said in a local newspaper report that leftist interests seeking to destabilize the country are manipulating migrants.  Women and children are being used without regard to the risks to their lives, Hernández said. “The irregular mobilization was organized for political reasons to negatively affect the governance and image of Honduras and to destabilize the peace of neighboring countries,” the president said, adding that many have returned to the country after realizing they’ve been fooled. Guatemala is overwhelmed with the sudden onslaught and immigration officials confirmed 1,700 migrants have been returned to Honduras on buses. The first wave of migrants totaled about 4,000, according to Guatemalan government sources, followed by a second, less organized group of about 2,000. The impoverished Central American nation needs help, including logistical, communications and civil affairs support to stop the human caravans. “There are only so many resources we can dedicate to this,” said Guatemalan Secretary of Strategic Intelligence Mario Duarte. Guatemalans are getting robbed and crimes are being committed by the people in the caravans, Duarte said.

The cure for everything not witchcraft

If you want to know whether or not an idea has merit, pay attention to how much the establishment opposes it. While it was not true that "Christians" murdered "millions" of women during the witch hunts in Europe during the last millennium (that figure was invented by feminists in the late 1800s), it is true that the Catholic Church included in its official definition of "witch" anyone with a practical knowledge of herbs because "those who used herbs for cures did so only through a pact with the Devil, either explicit or implicit." That grand tradition of the establishment vs natural healing, and the persecution of those who practice natural medicine is carried on today by the American Medical Association, Big Pharma and their business partners and enforcement wing, the FDA. This was demonstrated on Sept. 20, 1999, when Dr. Hulda Clark was arrested in San Diego and extradited in early October to Indiana, where she was charged with practicing medicine without a license. Indiana authorities claimed she was doing the same thing in Nashville, Indiana, in the early 1990s, which amounted to practicing medicine without a license. A warrant for her arrest was issued in 1993. According to the Indiana legal code, Dr. Clark was holding herself out to the public as being engaged in: The diagnosis, treatment, correction, or prevention of disease and ailments of human beings The suggestion, recommendation or prescription or administration of a form of treatment The prevention of any physical, mental or functional ailment or defect of any person If any of those sound familiar to you, it's because those are the same restrictions placed by the FDA on manufacturers and sellers of health supplements, who are expressly not allowed to tell you that any of them cure or prevent any disease, even if science proves that indeed they do. After being arrested and sent to Indiana, Dr. Clark appeared in court, pleaded not guilty and was released on a $10,000 bond. A judge ruled that her rights had been violated due to the delay in arresting and prosecuting her, so the charges were dismissed. Dr. Clark returned to California and her clinic in Mexico and continued to promote natural cures for cancer and disease prevention until her death on Sept. 3, 2009. What was so incredibly harmful to the establishment that Dr. Clark had to be persecuted and jailed? Well, Dr. Clark wrote several books, and in one of them, The Cure for All Diseases, Dr. Clark revealed the following, for which she went to jail: High blood pressure comes from cadmium poisoning, which causes the adrenal glands to malfunction and engender high blood pressure. In order to get rid of cadmium, Dr. Clark recommended a thorough kidney cleanse to heal the adrenal glands. Dr. Clark found that mold is a persistent cause of sickness and that most bags of tea contain mold. Buy tea in bulk only and avoid mold and its attendant illnesses. Sleep breathing is regulated by acid in the blood. When we consume acidic processed foods and carbonated beverages, it causes us to lose sleep and even have sleep apnea (which has indeed increased since the explosion of soda drinking). Depression is caused by chlorine as an allergen to the brain, and bromides as well. Avoid this group of chemicals which appear in bleaches and brominated flour, for example. Aluminum is found in the brains of most people with Alzheimer's, and if you want to chelate the aluminum from your brain, use thioctic acid (now called alpha-lipoic acid) to remove it and prevent Alzheimer's. Memory loss is not due to "aging." It is due to a deteriorating liver from toxicity and solvents in the environment. To reverse liver aging and cleanse your liver of prevalent chemicals and maintain your power of recall, it's no coincidence that alpha-lipoic acid works for this purpose as well. Also, add selenium. I use this formula each day. For ultimate heart health and to get more oxygen to the blood, brain and tissues, use niacin, which increases oxygen to the blood and opens blood vessels. What about cancer? Dr. Clark believed parasites are present in all people with cancers. She also believed that propyl alcohol is a growth factor for parasites. Therefore if we remove propyl alcohol from our lives, cancer will never come to be in our bodies. All store-bought shampoos have propyl or isopropyl alcohol in them, even if it is not on the ingredient label. Other names are propanol, isopropanol. For a "health" shampoo, it must be specifically labeled that it does not contain it. Also, carbonated beverages, decaf coffee, bottled water, granolas, hairspray and synthetic vitamins can have propyl alcohol in them. Dr. Clark recommended a recipe to eliminate parasites that included black walnut hull, wormwood capsules and fresh ground cloves, all very powerful antibiotics and antioxidants in and of themselves. To clear molds and aflatoxins, which is a mycotoxin about which I have written in the past, you can use 3 grams a day of vitamin C and also cysteine and betaine. But the surest way to kill off mycotoxins is with colloidal silver. Colloidal silver has been shown to be highly effective against this family of pathogens. The size of the silver particles is key. They have to be small enough to penetrate deep into the cells and tissues where these insidious "stealth pathogens" are known to hide. General longevity and well-being In general, Dr. Clark believed that removing mercury fillings and preventing the attendant poisons introduced into the body could relieve many maladies, illnesses, fatigue, memory loss and even improve eyesight and hearing. She believed that you should drink a mixture of lemon juice, vinegar and added honey because it will add years to your life.  For prostate health, Dr. Clark pointed to nickel, which is plentiful in our soil and collects in the urinary tract and the prostate. Stainless steel utensils are 8 percent nickel. Nickel is fat soluble and gets stored in organs as well, so there can be a supply of it "feeding" your prostate enlargement unless you get rid of it. Histidine is a nickel chelator so take 500 mg once a day for a three weeks. Nickel also poisons enzymes that rely on zinc, so take extra zinc as well.
