Sacrificing our children to the state

Sacrificing our children to the state

The natural progression of a society with legalized baby murder and legalized euthanasia of the elderly and infirmed is the legalization of child murder. And so the Toronto Sick Kids hospital's recent policy paper on administering assisted death to children without parental consent has drawn little attention.

The September 21 paper, written by doctors at Sick Kids, along with administrators and medical ethicists, was published in the British Medical Journal's J Med Ethics and backed by the University of Toronto's Joint Centre for Bioethics. The paper appeared just three months before the Canadian Council of Academies is due to report to Parliament on the medical consensus of extending voluntary euthanasia to children under 18, psychiatric patients and patients who have expressed a preference for dying before they were rendered incapable by Alzheimer's or some other disease. The assisted murder of people falling in these categories is currently prohibited by Canadian law.

The paper's authors argue there is no meaningful ethical distinction between a patient choosing to refuse burdensome treatment and accepting an inevitable death versus patients who choose to die by chemical injection before the disease brings on death. And since Ontario law does not require parents to be involved in a "capable minor's" decision to refuse further treatment, there is no legal reason to include parents in decisions about "assisted death."

In other words, if the proposal is adopted physicians will be legally able to kill minor children at the child's request without consultation with parents; kill mentally ill people — who lack the capacity for rational thought; and kill people who may or may not one day develop an illness. That ultimately transcends into physicians having the license to kill anyone for any reason. So much for the Hippocratic Oath — first, do no harm.

The abortion crowd and their defenders and proponents justify the murders of the soon-to-be-born humans by claiming they are just "tissues" like cancers or bad kidneys or are "parasitic growths" that need to be excised from the woman's body. But these "tissues" are not at all like cancers or bad kidneys because they contain hearts, livers, kidneys, brains, etc., and their own DNA. This moral relativism, of course, provides cover for the fact that a cancer or kidney or parasite will never be able to survive outside the body, but the human baby is a unique person who will be able to in a matter of weeks.

The abortion crowd and their defenders and proponents lament that the baby may be "defective" or born to poor or abusive parents, or it won't be properly cared for or properly educated (feeble-minded) and would, therefore, be a "drain on society" or possibly produce more progeny that would likewise be feeble-minded, so it would be "better off" if they were sucked out of the womb, chopped up, placed in red bags and incinerated. After all, who could couch such a thing as a youngster being born to "inferiors" or growing up in the company of "inferiors" and possibly producing more "inferior" offspring. Besides, those parts could better serve humanity through sacrificing their lives for research.

The devaluation of life is already public policy, as we see in the widespread acceptance of abortion. It’s certainly not surprising that a people who look on removing the soon-to-be-born from the womb as no more drastic than removing a decaying tooth from a mouth would come to believe that humans are expendable when they become inconvenient or sick; especially when it is supported by millions of dollars from the federal treasury.

This mindset is the same one of the progressive left in the early 20th century that gave us American and Nazi eugenicists. In 1935, the American Eugenics Society's dogma held that eugenics was a "racial preventive medicine" that sought to remove "degenerates" that were an "insidious disease" affecting the societal body in a similar manner to a cancer in the human body.

They justified their actions by dehumanizing their prey. Modern day eugenicists have just removed the racial component and decided that anyone who is unwanted or ill should be disposed of as societal preventive medicine.

In 2005 the Dutch became the first to permit euthanasia and propose guidelines for mercy killings of terminally ill newborns. The murder is carried out by administering a lethal dose of sedatives. We are told that Iceland has "basically eradicated, almost, Down syndrome." That's not true. But what is true is that in Iceland babies with chromosome abnormalities are eliminated in the womb because "Life isn't black and white. Life is grey."

Great Britain had the recent well-publicized state murders of Charlie Gard andAlfie Evans and in the U.S. we had Terri Schiavo — not a minor, but someone who was unable to make decisions for herself.

Medical ethicists — an apparent oxymoron — have long claimed that healthcare should be denied to those who aren't beneficial to society.

In his 1998 book, "The Ends of Human Life: Medical Ethics in a Liberal Polity," Ezekiel Emanuel, healthcare policy advisor under President Obama and brother of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, we find this passage:

People aspire to be members of a community by participating in its political deliberations. Through such participation, citizens can realize political autonomy, that is, living under conditions they legislate. They can also realize certain capacities, such as the capacity for responsibility and moral reflection. And finally, through their participation in communal deliberations citizens become bound to the larger community, seeing their own interests in its common interest. In this way they transcend their individual existence to become part of an ongoing community with a posterity… Similarly, in the area of selecting medical interventions, the deliberative conception suggests that certain capacities are necessary for a worthy and meaningful life. Without the potential capacities for engaging in deliberations, one is not a full person."

In other words, if grandma had a stroke and can't speak, or your brother is born mentally handicapped or is brain damaged from an accident, or a toddler has leukemia, then those people aren't "full persons," according to Emanuel. They don't have the potential to participate in political discussions, and participation in the transcendent community — and only that participation — is what grants complete personhood.

We have fallen into the dishonoring and demeaning state of moral or value relativism. We no longer know right from wrong. Nothing is black and white. Everything is a shade of gray — as the Icelandic abortion doctor says — which is to say that anything goes.

We are not-so-subtly being taught that sacrificing our children is honorable, desirable and even glorious and a service to our fellow man as long as it's carried out under the benevolence of the medical system or on behalf of the state.

We glorify our military "heroes" — especially in death — as those people we designate (volunteer) as sacrificial lambs to advance the empire. The people are under the misguided notion that they are thanking these soldiers for the service when, in reality, the people are being manipulated to accept that self-sacrifice is honorable and some lives must be sacrificed — at the direction of the elites — for wars and "police actions" that advance the "common good" — with common good being whatever the elites say it is. When we accept that sacrificing our military sons and daughters is honorable, extending this notion to everyone else is easy.

We condemn the eugenicists of the early 20th century, and rightly so. But today's eugenicists are considered enlightened forward thinkers and even patriots.

Dying under the pretense of sickness care is more benevolent than dying by a firing squad. Sickness care under all pretenses is benevolent. It is not possible for many Americans to identify sickness care with death.

Firing squads and death chambers cost the system money. On the other hand, imagine how much the medical system stands to profit from "sickness care" in America.

Arranging euthanasia by "mercy killing" and/or "sickness care" is far more acceptable and even benevolent. It's a simple trick of confusing cause and effect.

Thousands of Illinois students get private school aid in new program’s first year

Illinois’ program offering state tax credits for donations to help students go to private schools have given tuition assistance to thousands of students, but officials say the new program still faces challenges and opposition.

In its first year, the Invest in Kids program is going to help nearly 5,600 students with tuition assistance that will send them to a private school of their choosing. The program offers donors a 75 percent state tax credit. The money is then distributed to students who apply. Demand for tuition aid has outpaced donations. Empower Illinois, one of the organizations that distribute the money, said more than 30,000 students still are waiting for tuition assistance.

Empower Illinois Executive Director Anthony Holter said the students applying are saying that their local public school isn’t their ideal choice.

“Those are not best fits for their child and they want to seek another option, but can’t make that happen, or it’s very difficult to make that happen,” he said.

The program was passed as part of the sweeping school funding reform legislation that was signed into law last fall. At the time, Democrats cried foul on the addition of the program just before it was finalized.

Since January, the program brought in $44 million in donations, far short of the $100 million limit.

The money is split by regions of the state. Cook County, its own region, has secured $35 million in pledged donations. The rest of the state’s regions combined received less than $10 million.

“We are truly grateful to the donors of this program,” said Larry Daly, principal of St. Teresa High School in Decatur. “This program allows families in the Decatur area the option to choose the education that best fits their needs. For this, we are truly thankful.”

Even if supporters did hit the limit set by lawmakers, $100 million wouldn’t be enough to help every student who applied for a grant.

“We have demand that would far exceed the $100 million cap,” Holter said.

Empower has hired additional fundraisers in an effort to meet the demand. Money being donated up to the end of this year would go to a student for this school year.

Democrats have criticized the program, saying it uses state money that should go to public schools. If Democrat J.B. Pritzker is elected governor, he’s said he would end the program.

“It’s a top-of-mind thing for a lot of folks on the donor side as well as the parent side,” Holter said. “The fundraising can be a challenge when people are concerned whether or not they’ll get the deduction that was maybe a motivation for them in the first place.”

The program is otherwise set to expire in 2024.

The donations would not be fully deductible on federal filings, Holter said, because the 75 percent credit would have to be subtracted.

Trump cancels pay raise for government workers, citing the ‘nation’s fiscal situation’

Trump cancels pay raise for government workers, citing the ‘nation’s fiscal situation’

President Donald Trump ruined the Labor Day holiday for some 1.87 million federal civilian union workers today when he announced that their scheduled pay increases will be rescinded.
“We must maintain efforts to put our Nation on a fiscally sustainable course,” the President wrote in a letter to the House and Senate. “I view the increases that would otherwise take effect as inappropriate.”
“In light of our Nation’s fiscal situation, Federal employee pay must be performance-based, and aligned strategically toward recruiting, retaining, and rewarding high-performing Federal employees and those with critical skill sets,” the President wrote.
The move was quickly condemned by federal workers unions and leftist politicians who view the federal treasury as their own personal piggy bank. As reported by AJC.com:
“This is a deeply disappointing action and one more indication that this administration, in this economic environment, simply does not respect its own workforce,” said Tony Reardon, President of the National Treasury Employees Union.
“It is simply obscene that the same person who gave away massive amounts of money to corporations and billionaires in a tax scam now is crying that we don’t have enough money for pay raises for the Federal workforce,” said Will Fischer of the veterans group VoteVets.
“Trump sent the deficit skyrocketing to give massive tax breaks to big corporations and the wealthiest Americans, while working families got nothing,” the Democratic National Committee declared in a statement.
“Republicans gave corporations a trillion dollar tax cut and are now cutting pay raises for social workers, janitors, painters, clerical workers, and more,” said Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA). “It’s outrageous.”
But what’s missing from the conversation is that many if not most of the federal workers actually got a “pay increase” as a result of last year’s Trump tax cut. It’s an increase that many folks, ourselves included, are seeing in our pay checks each week.
But it’s not surprising that the political class — which has no concerns for plight of the millions of middle class Americans who have been suffering under their policies and have been without significant raises for years and have seen their wages drop because of inflation — prefer average Americans pay higher taxes just so government workers can get fatter paydays.
It shows you whose side they’re on.

Hillary Clinton's homebrew server hacked by Chinese

Hillary Clinton's homebrew server hacked by Chinese
By Bob Livingston
In the summer of 2017, The New York Times reported that China had killed or imprisoned 18 to 20 CIA sources from 2010 to 2012, systematically dismantling American spying operations in that country that had been decades in the making.

Intelligence officials described the breach as one of the worst in decades, but the American spying apparatus and law enforcement agencies were unable to agree on how the spies' identities were compromised. Some blamed a mole. Others suspected the Chinese had hacked the CIA's covert communications system.

Former CIA case officer Jerry Chun Shing Lee, 53, a naturalized American, veteran of the U.S. military and CIA field agent with top secret clearance from 1994-2007, was arrested in January and charged with unauthorized possession of classified intelligence and conspiring to commit espionage in carrying out spying activities for China. Classified material was allegedly found during searches of his residences in Hawaii and Virginia, according to the Department of Just(Us).

The explanation may be much simpler. The Daily Caller News Foundation this week reported that Hillary Clinton's homebrew email server was hacked by a Chinese firm… that's the same email server that was the source of so much controversy during the investigation into the Benghazi terror attack that left Hillary's gunrunning Ambassador Chris Stevens, former Navy SEALS Tyron Woods and Glen Doherty and information management officer Sean Smith dead and the American Consulate there in ashes.

Hillary's server was operational in her Chappaqua, New York home from January 2009 until 2013 when it was handed off to a data center in New Jersey and then onto Platte River Networks in Denver. According to Daily Caller, a Chinese firm wrote code that was embedded on the server that caused the creation of an instant "courtesy copy" of all emails that was sent to the Chinese company in real time.

The Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) discovered what it described as an "anomaly" on Clinton's server in 2015 and two ICIG officials reported it repeatedly to the FBI. But the FBI did nothing. Among the FBI officials warned of the Chinese intrusion was the now-fired Peter Strzok who, along with FBI Director James Comey, ran cover for Hillary during the Benghazi email investigation in the lead-up to the election and who demonstrated anti-Donald Trump animus in his email and text communications with his FBI lawyer mistress.

From The DCNF:

"When [the ICIG] did a very deep dive, they found in the actual metadata — the data which is at the header and footer of all the emails — that a copy, a 'courtesy copy,' was being sent to a third party and that third party was a known Chinese public company that was involved in collecting intelligence for China," the former intelligence officer told TheDCNF.

"The [the ICIG] believe that there was some level of phishing. But once they got into the server something was embedded," he said. "The Chinese are notorious for embedding little surprises like this."

The intelligence officer declined to name the Chinese company.

"We do know the name of the company. There are indications there are other 'cutouts' that were involved. I would be in a lot of trouble if I gave you the name," he told TheDCNF.

The globalist mouthpiece Foreign Policy doubts Lee was the sole source of the Chinese intelligence that led to them swooping up the spies, all of whom were eventually killed. That's because the Chinese moved too fast.

As Foreign Policy notes:

"You could tell the Chinese weren't guessing. The Ministry of State Security [which handles both foreign intelligence and domestic security] were always pulling in the right people," one of the officials said. "When things started going bad, they went bad fast." The former officials also said the re…
The ICIG determined that Clinton's emails contained classified material, despite what Comey inferred during his big reveal and Clinton proclaimed while campaigning in the the run-up to the election in the fall of 2016. The FBI had even issued a criminal referral to the Department of Just(Us) in 2015, and then reminded the Barack Obama DOJ Deputy Director Sally Yates — who was later fired by Trump — about the referral that "addressed the mishandling of classified information on the personal e-mail account and electronic media of a former high-level us Government official."

Even though he was well aware that Clinton's carelessness — or worse — led to the Chinese intercepting communications from Clinton, including emails with the president, Comey determined that Clinton shouldn't be prosecuted for her homebrew email server and gave her a pass. Instead, the agency focused on an unknown former operative.

But we note that while Lee is charged with having classified information and conspiring to commit espionage; he has not been charged with being behind the roundup of American spies in China. This reeks of a great misdirection designed to take the heat off of Clinton. An unknown CIA operative is expendable, but a globalist like the Witch from Chappaqua is not. Lee may very well be nothing more than a fall guy.

The Clintons' partnership with communist Red China goes way back — at least to the 1980s — when Hillary and Chelsea-daddy Webb Hubbell worked on a NSA project for a Rose Law firm client. The Clinton operation later opened the door for Chinese spying through its Commerce Department.

Commerce was headquarters for John Huang and communist Red China's U.S. spy operations and was also used by Commerce Secretary Ron Brown for selling foreign trade mission positions to corporate big-wigs, among other activities under investigation at the time of Brown's death in a Commerce plane crash that also killed undersecretary Charles Meissner and a handful of international banksters.

Huang was a chief fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee during the Clinton years, responsible for obtaining White House meetings for Clinton with Red Chinese military officials and gun runners. He was briefed 37 times by the CIA on encryption communications.

As WorldNetDaily.com reported at the time, "Immediately after each briefing, Huang would walk across the street to the Lippo/Stephens Group and make long distance calls and send faxes to points unknown." Lippo boss James Riady, of Chinese descent, is a Clinton backer and a former intern with the Arkansas-based Stephens Group, also responsible for paying Hubbell $100,000 shortly after Hubbell's resignation from DOJ.

Democracy and the love of money

By Bob Livingston

The American public clearly does not understand the relationship between democracy and "money," or what passes for money. In the same way that fiat, paper money passes for genuine wealth and value, democracy passes for the original and best form of American government. The two — democracy and fiat paper — are intrinsically connected.

Democracy and fiat money are the twin towers of public deception. Both are required to deceive Americans concerning their own affairs. Both are empty, so far as individual liberty and the common good are concerned. The common wealth of the people has been perverted into a collective "public good," or disguised socialism, which is used as the primary appeal to advance both democracy and the love of money.
Democracy and fiat money both thrive on the darkest sins of man's heart: greed and guilt manipulation. Fiat money appeals to the greed of men by asserting that it is possible to be wealthy without hard work and creativity — that one can create wealth merely by accumulating paper that has been arbitrarily numbered and assigned a fictitious value. As the Bible says, such love of money is the root of all evil. Democracy supports this wickedness by permitting the populace to vote itself the largess of the public trough. The big lie is that all can become wealthy in this system of unlimited paper money and unlimited paper money redistribution programs. The widespread guilt created by these sins of greed and deception is then used to manipulate the public into supporting social welfare programs.
The system regenerates itself: The public relieves its guilt for having loved money so much that it allowed the creation of lots and lots of worthless "money." The illusion is that there is widespread wealth. The illusion is that there is self-government and freedom.
At the head of this deception is the so-called "democratic" government. If it is so democratic, why are the same people always at its helm? Why are the same "government professionals" always in key positions of power and influence? Their lie fusing democracy and the greedy pursuit of unlimited "money" is made possible by their various bureaucratic confiscation programs. After all, if the IRS and other taxing and fee powers appear to really want those paper dollars, they must be valuable stuff! To some degree, we are all compelled to participate. The system is too large to avoid altogether. Also, regular media whippings and constant legislation of new "laws" compel people to believe in democracy and the love of money.
To the degree that individuals avoid the system, they avoid the pending, utter collapse. For now, the payoff to avoiding the system is a clear conscience and greater personal and family liberty.
Most of you are already informed enough to know that the American nation was founded as a republic, not a democracy. A republic is a limited, representative, participatory government. A republic is the almost natural result of public order built upon the love of God, the individual, the family and business and many, many private associations and relations. Democracy is not necessarily a representative government, but it is an illusory participatory government. People tend to think that democracy is evolved or modern republicanism. Democracy is truly a veil for a wicked government that places all matters, including personal and private ones, into the public view, for public legislation.
In a democracy, the vote becomes the single, all-important symbol of citizen participation in government. The brilliant Frenchman, Alexis de Tocqueville, described in his Democracy in America, the danger facing all Americans should they become deceived into believing that their mere, sole vote constituted all the duties of a good citizen. He warned that when this development came about, we should become slaves to the real, elitist and plutocratic powers operating behind the veil of democracy. The problem was obvious more than 175 years ago, when Tocqueville wrote his book.
Democracy flourishes where the hard-working, creative middle class perishes, or is not allowed to develop. Its days, however, are numbered. For many reasons, the individual vote today is actually meaningless.
So few people vote today that the illusion is breaking down. Some folks say I am a pessimist, but here you see that I am really an optimist. The middle class is opting out of the illusory democratic system. As a result, they are being herded into supporting the paper money system, which is less and less reliant on the dollar and more and more reliant on the stock market. This too shall pass.

Say you are a different Gender to get cheaper Insurance rates

One Man’s Trick Raises Some Frightening Questions For Society

Nearly every day, we are subjected to a new demand by the LGBT community.
They push for open acceptance of their alternative lifestyles and criticize anyone who disagrees.

Now one man has put a twist on the gender insanity – and it has become an example of just how out of hand things have become.
Those who identify as transgender go to extreme lengths to change their biology, and they expect special rights and privileges for their decision.
News and discussion of the transgender lifestyle is everywhere we look, and if it weren’t a human being endangering themselves, we might laugh it off as the latest “trend.”
A Canadian man has now shown just how far downhill things have gone in our culture by using the left’s own game against them.
The man known as “David” was unhappy during a recent car-buying trip when his insurance company gave him a much higher than expected rate to insure the new vehicle.
Almost jokingly, he asked what his rate would be if he were a woman.  Furious that it would be almost a hundred dollars more a month simply because he was a man, he set off on a quest.
“David” decided to legally become a woman, just to save a few bucks.
But here’s where the story goes from silly to making us really stop and think about what is happening in our country – and abroad – these days.
David found it remarkably easy to legally change his gender – no questions asked.
This is the legacy of the left in forcing their agenda on our culture.  All David had to do was tell his doctor he decided to identify as a woman, get a note from the physician to send to vital records and DMV and – boom – his birth certificate was changed to reflect him now being a female.
Yes, this is fraud.  But it is also a symptom of a disease that is wiping out the values our nation was founded on.
Journalist Phil Lawler remarks in an editorial on the rise of transgenderism that, In a society controlled by the transgender ideology, society is trained to accept the absurd.”
He quotes writer Stella Morabito that the ideology requires “a mind-body disconnect that is unsustainable in any functioning human society.”
“Is this alarmist thinking? If you think so, reflect on the fact that most of our most influential institutions, from the White House to the university to Hollywood and even to some religious congregations, proudly proclaim their desire to accommodate the “LGBT” community. Needless to say the “T” stands for the transsexuals, who are determined to gain acceptance in the American mainstream.”

Lets talk Fake News Media

The week's news that wasn't
By Bob Livingston

Shrouding, Trumping, immigrating and racializing the most enemonious, communist sympathizing, propagandic and poorly executed fakeries in the week's fake news.

Enemy of the people

Are the mainstream media an enemy of the people? Donald Trump sure thinks so; the "fake news" media anyway, which is what he calls the "failing" New York Times, NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN.

Bob Livingston has made a case that they are, writing:

[I]f the media are covering over these things for the Deep State — whether actively or passively — they are an enemy of the people; as is the FBI, which is even now being uncovered as having attempted — with other aspects of the Deep State — a coup against a lawfully elected president.

Those outlets Trump mentioned have certainly had no qualms about accusing Trump of being "an enemy of the people." Their standard trope is that Trump is operating for Russia or on behalf of or at the instruction of Vladimir Putin — claims which have yet to be substantiated.

The crywhineys in the MSM — and that includes you, Jim Acosta — are in a constant lather trying to defend their "honor" over Trump's attacks on them. They've even gone so far as to show they are colluding against Trump, engaging in a group-think pushback yesterday in which hundreds of anti-Trump media sites editorialized against Trump and efforted to regain their sacrificed legitimacy. And reporters like Acosta regularly claim to fear for their lives when covering Trump rallies.

But we note that while there is no documented case that we're aware of of a Trump supporter doing anything more than calling Acosta (and a few other anti-Trump journalists) bad names and giving them middle finger salutes, there are documented — and recent — cases of leftists attacking the media. And they've gotten very little media attention.

At Saturday's demonstration in Charlottesville, Virginia, marking the one-year anniversary of violent protests and outright thuggery between the fascist Antifa terrorist group and white supremacist agitators that left Heather Heyer dead, Antifa goons pushed on and swatted NBC reporter Cal Perry's camera. Antifa also clashed with police and journalists at "Sunday's Unite the Right 2" rally in Washington, D.C., throwing eggs and water bottles and shooting fireworks at them.

The left-wing news outlet Vox reported that "a few left-wing 'antifa' (short for 'anti-fascist') counterprotesters did engage in violence, throwing eggs and water bottles and shooting fireworks at police officers and some journalists who were covering the demonstrations... This weekend in Charlottesville and DC, though, it wasn't neo-Nazis and white supremacists the antifa attacked. It was police who were there to help keep the peace among all the demonstrators and journalists who were there to cover the events."

Perry tweeted a video from the event, saying that "Protesters (were) very aggressive with media."

Vox's reporting on the Antifa violence drew the ire of the HuffPost's "hate and extremism reporter" Christopher Mathias, who tweeted about it, "This is a bad article & a good example of how not to cover white supremacy," with a link to the Vox article.

In other words, the reporter at HuffPost doesn't think reporters should report that the Antifa fascist are acting like fascists. And the rest of the fake media don't think violent attacks on the press warrant coverage because the attackers aren't Trump-supporting "deplorables."

So Trump has a point.

CNN and 'fake news' are becoming synonymous

In the wake of a Pew survey that seemed to show that some Trump voters are souring on him, CNN put together a completely unbiased and legitimate panel of "Trump voters" which proved that not only are "some" Trump voters souring on him, but half of all Trump voters think he's a monster and everyone who voted for him — themselves included — are "idiots" for having done so.

However, it turns out that one of the panelists (at least), didn't sour on Trump after the election. He soured on him long before.

The supposed Trump voter-turned-panelist Jeremy Montanez told CNN's Alisyn Camerota that he turned on Trump when he "heard what was going on at the southern border." But in fact, Montanez has a YouTube channel on which he posted a video stating, "It makes me disgusted at the majority of this country but then what can I expect anything less from, you know, a majority of half the population nominating a person like Donald Trump."

Montanez's social media accounts show him to be a communist-sympathizing supporter of the crazy-eyed socialist wunderkind nincompoop Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

On a side note: Montanez bristled at NewsBusters' account that questioned his Trump-voting bonafides and told them, "[Y]es I am a socialist yes I am a die-hard liberal but I did support this President and you can't prove otherwise."

Right...

Honesty compels us here to point out that CNN is not the only media outlet known to put together phony panels stuffed with phony panelists in order to push a phony narrative and label it as organic and unscripted. It just seems that CNN — the network that gave its favored gal the debate questions ahead of time — is the worst at finding panelists that haven't already discredited themselves.

Politico's heartstring-plucking gobbledygook

Seeking to further stir the pot regarding Trump's policies aimed at slowing down illegal immigration into the U.S., the website Politico ran a diatribe by a physician named David S. Glosser who claims to be the uncle of Trump immigration policy adviser Stephen Miller.

Glosser tells the story about how his forebears fled their village in Belarus at the turn of the 20th century to escape "violent anti-Jewish pogrom and forced childhood conscription in the czar's army" and boarded a ship bound for America.

Wolf-Leib Glosser entered through Ellis Island, New York, and began working in sweatshops and peddling on street corners in order to earn enough money to bring his family to the United States. Later, that immigrant family built several businesses including a chain of supermarkets and discount department stores that would be listed on the American Stock Exchange.

Glosser weaves his tale through the family tree until he comes to his and Miller's place in it, then proceeds to condemn Miller for helping Trump craft an immigration policy that reflects Miller is "numb to the resultant human tragedy and blind to the hypocrisy of their policy decisions."

It's a heartwarming story, but Glosser is engaged in propaganda, or what we'd call fake news.

He sophistically writes:

I shudder at the thought of what would have become of the Glossers had the same policies Stephen so coolly espouses— the travel ban, the radical decrease in refugees, the separation of children from their parents, and even talk of limiting citizenship for legal immigrants — been in effect when Wolf-…

There's a vast difference between incarcerating illegals caught sneaking across the border and assimilating immigrants who entered legally through America's main point of entry and declared themselves as refugees at Ellis Island.

Glosser is a highly educated and accomplished man and is certainly aware there's a difference. He — and Politico — is counting on you not knowing it.

I'll bet the next family reunion's going to be fun.

Fabricating 'hate crimes'

What is it with restaurant workers in Texas where it seems fabricated hate crimes are becoming all the rage these days? We recently told you about the Facebook pile-on that was based on a phony message scrawled on a restaurant receipt in Texas. A photo of the receipt with the message, "I don't tip terrorists" was posted by Khalil Cavil, who later recanted his story.

Now we learn of another social media wildfire over alleged racist comments, this time in Waco. As KWTX-TV reports:

Freestone County Sheriff Jeremy Shipley is livid over a widely circulated social media post in which a waitress at a Waco restaurant falsely claimed that one of his employees scrawled a racial slur against Hispanics on a receipt. "The character and integrity of this employee and my office has been a…

Well I'm certain they have. Nothing gets the social media social just warriors and cultural Marxists off their butts and into their Twitter and Facebook accounts faster than some perceived racial slight. And it's especially motivating for them if the "offender" is a "racist cop."

According to the story, the Hispanic waitress at a Japanese steakhouse — we're sure there's a joke in there somewhere — received the receipt back with a "racist remark... against the Hispanic community" written on it. It's unclear from the photo what the "racist remark" was, but it appears to say:

Worts attendance here Ever! ____ Mexicans!

The word before "Mexicans" was blurred out so we have to take their word for it that it's "racist."

It's clear that English is not the first language of whoever wrote the message, so it could have been a cop, I guess. (If you've ever read a police report you'll know what I mean.)

But after police watched surveillance video and compared handwriting samples the unnamed waitress caved under questioning and confessed to writing the message herself.

"My employee did not deserve this, nor does my office or any law enforcement agency in this state or across America. This is a perfect time to remind people that just because it's on social media doesn't make it true," Shipley said.

You have everything to gain by making sure you vote for a Fiscally Conservative Republican

By Steve Balich

Increased Taxes cause property to loose value, business to , and less jobs. I can't think of anything positive about increased taxes. I wish we did not have to give the Government are hard earned money, but do understand you do need taxes for a limited number of things the people can't do themselves like plowing the snow on the street and maintaining infrastructure like sewers, roads, bridges, and red lights. Government unfortunately is like a BEAST eating our tax dollars as fast as they collect them.

Taxes, Rules and Regulations are always increasing if the BEAST gets its way. It is the job of each elected Official to try work to decrease the size of Government. We need to cut taxes, and regulations that are making our communities unsustainable. Business closings and people moving are a symptom of the problem. Your property tax increases and your property value decreases.

When I got on the Will County Board Democrats raised the taxes to the max and talked about implementing a Public Safety Tax. Republicans took control and cut the tax rate every year since, while building a Courthouse, Health Department, and Public Safety Building.  Point being Democrats have been in control of the State, Chicago, and Cook County for longer than I can remember. Madigan is basically the king. Look at the results of tax and spend policies. The states under Democrat control are in the worst fiscal Condition.

The answer is to vote Republican. You have everything to gain by making sure you vote for a Fiscally Conservative Republican

“inadequate supervision” allegations can be extremely vague / children alone

When do you leave your children alone?
It’s a deeply personal decision that reflects family values, circumstance and a child’s unique personality. But if state government gets involved in the wrong place at the wrong time, that decision can ruin parents’ lives. And potentially their child’s, too.
Thankfully, a recent class-action lawsuit resulted in a settlement agreement that could bring some solace to Illinois parents.

One Chicago mom, Natasha Felix, made the decision in July 2013 to let her three sons, ages 11, 9 and 5, along with their 9-year-old cousin, play at a local park next door to their apartment.
The eldest was responsible. And all the children were perfectly fine. Felix even checked on them every 10 minutes from her kitchen window. But a passerby called the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
DCFS has a book of rules that sorts different types of child abuse or neglect by the type of allegation. Allegation No. 74 is called “inadequate supervision.” Although Felix’s children were not taken from her, she became a neglectful parent in the eyes of the state due to the department’s finding of her “inadequate supervision” that day. This scarlet letter prevented her from volunteering at her children’s school and blocked needed job opportunities.
Short of harm to her children, can you imagine a worse fate for a mother than being wrongfully pegged as a child abuser?
For more than two years, thanks to the help of the nonprofit Family Defense Center, Felix fought the finding. And in 2015, she rightfully had her name removed from the state’s registry.
But Felix was not alone. As it turns out, the department’s “inadequate supervision” allegations can be extremely vague. A parent could have been flagged as a neglector under Allegation No. 74 if “a child is placed in a situation or circumstances that are likely to require judgment or actions greater than the child’s level of maturity…”
But who should decide what situations are within the child’s maturity level – the state or the parent? Plenty of parents think challenging their kids in situations slightly outside their comfort zone is the best way for them to learn.
Also important to note: Rules with plenty of wiggle room tend to work against the least powerful among us.
That’s why in 2016, the Family Defense Center filed a class-action lawsuit on behalf of thousands of parents whacked with child neglect under that rule. And in May 2017, the department changed it. Investigators now must find that a child was placed “at a real, significant and imminent risk of likely harm” because of a parent’s “blatant disregard of … responsibilities of care and support.”
And this summer, the Family Defense Center and DCFS finally reached a settlement.
The department will allow thousands of moms and dads who were flagged because of “inadequate supervision” to request a special review of their case. If the charge wouldn’t pass muster under the new, better standards for what constitutes neglect, their name will be removed from the list.
“This settlement brings relief to thousands of families who were unfairly labeled neglectful,” Family Defense Center Executive Director Rachel O’Konis Ruttenberg said. “Hopefully this will help DCFS focus on the families who truly need help.”

There is still much more work to be done.
For example, any parents who leave their children age 13 or younger home alone might be guilty of neglect under Illinois state law – the strictest law of its kind in the nation. Only a handful of other states have a minimum age for leaving children home alone. Three states set the minimum age at 12 for leaving children home alone, another three states set the minimum age at 8 and Kansas lists the minimum age at 6. At least 30 states have no minimum age for when a child can be left home alone.
Illinois lawmakers may have passed this measure and others like it with the best of intentions. Unfortunately, they result in far more stories like Felix’s.
It’s in the best interest of all Illinois children that likelihood of real harm – not just investigators’ personal parenting preferences – drives decision-making from lawmakers and DCFS.
Vague, arbitrary and overly protective rules, like we see often in Illinois, don’t do anyone any favors.
