Homer 33C Kindergarten Registration
Children who turn 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2018 are eligible to attend kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year. Homer 33C will conduct registration for those students from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on March 15 at Schilling School. Attached is additional information as well as a photo taken in one of our kindergarten classrooms.

Kindergarten registration Thursday, March 15 in Homer 33C
Do you have a child who will turn 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2018? It’s time to register him or her for kindergarten.
Homer School District 33C will conduct Kindergarten Registration from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15 at Luther J. Schilling School, 16025 Cedar Road, Homer Glen.
Parents are asked to bring a copy AND original of the following documents:
- Child’s certified county issued birth certificate
- Any court documents related to guardianship
- Proof of residency
To prove residency, please bring one of the following:
- Most recent Real Estate Tax Bill
- Mortgage Document or Statement (dated within the last 60 days)
- Signed Current Lease
- Military Housing Letter
- Section 8 Housing Letter
In addition, please bring three of the following:
- Illinois Driver’s License/State ID (MUST be one of the three items)
- Utility Bill: cable, phone, gas, electric water, etc.
- Vehicle Registration
- Auto, homeowner’s or renter’s insurance statement
- Medicaid card
All documents must be current (within the last 60 days) and include the parent/guardian’s name and Homer 33C address. You must be a resident of Homer 33C at the time of registration.
Please note: The district may require additional proof of residence, interviews of the person(s) enrolling the student and the student’s parent(s) and/or home visits to verify the student’s residency within the district.
Be sure to bring the original AND a copy of each document.
The average wait time to complete Kindergarten Registration is 15-30 minutes.
It is not necessary to bring the child to registration, but they are welcome to attend. For more information, visit the district’s website at www.homerschools.org
