Hadley Middle School raises $3,500 for Make-A-Wish Illinois
Enriches lives with hope, strength and joy

Hadley Middle School students, parents, teachers and staff are helping grant the wishes of children diagnosed with critical illnesses.

Last week, the school raised just over $3,500 through its “Wishmakers at Hadley” campaign.

“Our students and staff are very generous,” said Hadley Middle School secretary Chris Fuller who organized the fundraising campaign.

“We had some students go through their backpacks and pockets each day looking for loose change,” she added.

One student brought in a check for $1,000 after telling a grandparent about the fundraiser.

The donations will be sent to Make-A-Wish Illinois, which grants wishes to hundreds of Illinois children each year who are living with life-threatening medical conditions such as cancer, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Cystic Fibrosis and dozens of other qualifying conditions.
